    Cool Acid Reflux

I have had this happen to me on occasion. Doesn't matter what type or time, I'm having my cigar. Comes out of the blue mostly on the last third. Causing me to put out some premium cigars. I don't relight, unless it's on the spot. What a waste.

Just wondering if, any of you guys experience this. If so, how do you fix the problem?

I ran into this problem when I first started smoking cigars, but it has pretty much disappeared from my smoking experience.

Try munching some Tums or Rolaids 15 or 20 minutes before you smoke...preventative medicine.

Yeah acid reflux sucks.. especially when your smoking a good cigar. Pepto bismol works ok for me sometimes, or if I drink a glass of milk i find it helps a bit too not sure why though.

Try eating something before you smoke.

Works for me. I only seem to have the problem when I have eaten a particularly large meal and smoke pretty soon afterwards.

I think if you are getting acid reflux you are doing exactly the right thing by putting the smoke down. Your body is trying to tell you that something is irritating it. Why mask the symptoms and keep aggrevating the situation? It's kind of like putting the fork down when you're full.

Yeah, they are... but your body is gooder.

As long as it's happening occasionally I would just put them down when it happens. If it's happening all the time, see a doctor.

Well, I guess because the alternative is not getting to enjoy the cigar. My favorite food, tex-mex, fires up the reflux everytime....but I ain't givin that up either.

Well, the cure for allergies is being exposed to them... maybe it's the same for acid reflux.

Find the closest "On The Border" with a smoking section.
