I received one as a present from my ex-boss. Did not impress me at all.![]()
"No one can tell me what is a good cigar -- for me. I am the only judge. There are no standards -- no real standards. Each man's preference is the only standard for him, the only one which he can accept, the only one which can command him."
~ Mark Twain
I did a write up on it a few months ago with pics. It was good but not THAT good for the money...
I'm glad to read this, I have been considering these for some time....now I can stop!
I smoked one of these a few days ago for the first time. They had been sitting in my humi for about 6 months. It was a very nice cigar... easy light, good burn and smoke with no touch up. It started off a little bland but built quickly to a very nice flavor. I really don't remember what I paid for it (I usually buy what I want) I just remember I liked it.
I couldn't even consider trying a 160. I bought a 150 robusto back in 2001 or 2 and finally smoked it last year. Not bad at all, but worst buy ever considering the $30 tag. I was a stogie noob back then. Maybe thats hype for ya. I love Partagas Blacks, but I couldn't reccomend any of the $10+ sticks. Good to the point review.
