    Thumbs down

I received one as a present from my ex-boss. Did not impress me at all.

I smoked one of these a few days ago for the first time. They had been sitting in my humi for about 6 months. It was a very nice cigar... easy light, good burn and smoke with no touch up. It started off a little bland but built quickly to a very nice flavor. I really don't remember what I paid for it (I usually buy what I want) I just remember I liked it.

I couldn't even consider trying a 160. I bought a 150 robusto back in 2001 or 2 and finally smoked it last year. Not bad at all, but worst buy ever considering the $30 tag. I was a stogie noob back then. Maybe thats hype for ya. I love Partagas Blacks, but I couldn't reccomend any of the $10+ sticks. Good to the point review.

Just to follow up. The cigar did have a nice flavor. But the point of my comment is what ever the cigar had was not worth the $20 price tag that it came with.

By the way pub spears I could recommend a few sticks in the $10+ range that are def worth the money. A few quick examples: OpusX, Anejo, DC Maximus, PAM just be sure that the places you buy them have prices close to MSRP

Wow. I don't remember what it was, but I know it was nowhere near 20 bucks (I tend to remember those.) I'm pretty lucky that the B&M here is pretty reasonable and they give a 20% discount on anything over a $275 total order. That's pretty easy to do.

Me too and a few more. I meant $10+ NC Partagas. By the way, that was a 150 I paid $30 for when I was a noob. I think I remember Thompson's trying to get over $800 a box for them back then.
