Let me start by saying that I am not a seasoned cigar smoker. I am actually quite the newb and I am probably not even worthy of reviewing cigars, but here I go.
As I am a new cigar smoker I have yet to develop the palette to detect things such as caramel, chocolate, coffee, etc. However, the start of this cigar was fantastic! The burn started out a bit un-even but it quickly evened itself out. It tasted great and complemented my Bourbon quite well. At no point did I have to touch the cigar to even the burn. I am truly in a Cigar Bliss. This may very well be the first box of cigars that I buy.
As you can see by the image above this cigar had an even burn and the ash was quite nice. At this point the cigar is is tasting very good and even better than it tasted from the start. I am really starting to realize how "full bodied" this cigar really is and loving every second of it.
The image above should show you that the burn of this cigar is very good. It should also show you that I took a moment to refill my glass. :) At this point in the cigar I can really feel the lingering finish that washes down superbly with a sip of Bourbon. This is truly the "Full Bodied" cigar that I have been looking for. Some people say that a newbie such as myself should start with mild cigars but I say screw them because this cigar is fantastic and I love it.
I have smoked cigars down to the nub before but never this far. Even at this point I am still enjoying it. I actually found myself feeling a bit disappointed that the experience was about to end. In conclusion, I will simply say that if you prefer a mild cigar, do not buy this one because it is far from mild. If you enjoy a complex and full bodied cigar than you will truly enjoy one of these. I paid 7.99 for this cigar at my local humidor joint and it was worth every penny. I am quite sure that it can be purchased for less online but if the difference is not a substantial amount please support your local supplier.
Thank you for reading and have a nice day. :)
This is my first review and I am new to cigars so please let me know where I screwed up.
