No, as the cedar odor would leach into your cigars and then they would have a cedar taste.
Spanish cedar is not actually cedar, in spite of its name. What you want to keep cigars in is a neutral wood, such as cherrywood, with cedar siding on the inside.
There's only two kinds of cigars, the kind you like and the kind you don't.
