Thread: Torano Virtuoso

    Default Torano Virtuoso

So cls515 sent me this wonderful CT Virtuoso and all i have to do in return is post a review of it in a reasonable amount of time.

I'm new at the reviewing game, so i went as detailed as i could with this review, but ya know.

Ok, on first glance the cigar looks well constructed. It had a very good feel to it too. Cut easy and burned very even the whole way through. The prelight indicated it was going to be a strong cigar and it was. It started off very full flavored with surprisingly very little spice. The flavor seemed to stay the same woody, earthy taste the whole way through, but i couldn't pick up on any of the subtle flavors that i know are there. The stick smoked very smooth, not harsh at all and as i went, it slowly seemed to build a little spice.

Overall, it wasn't my favorite flavor in a cigar, but it was a pretty good smoke none-the-less. I give it a solid B.

good enough review? I did what i could.

    Thanks cls515.

What? No hints of crushed red pepper and walnut? Nice review, and a very good cigar by Torano.

Welcome. One thing I've noticed that you didn't mention is that it does start off medium bodied, but then in the middle it hits a spot where the smoke becomes silky smooth, then the fullness of the body comes back toward the last third.

It's a decent cigar, I'm with you on the rating.

Try the Casa Torano in toro.

I just bought a box of the torano virtuoso's, i forget the exact size/name. Like a robusto but a bit longer. Hold on i will look....... ah hah forte's. Anyhow, I have smoked two of them and I would say your review is quite accurate. Good job mon frere.

I smoke the Crescendo all the time. It is the most full-bodied of the CT's,. though I really like everything in the CT line except the Silver Exodus 1959 (and, as I found out later, probably because it has Mexican filler, which is a big turn-off for me).
There's only two kinds of cigars, the kind you like and the kind you don't.

One of my favorite smokes. CT makes a great line up. I think their Maduro cigars are the best though.
