Thread: buying cigars in a store

  1. Default buying cigars in a store

    Hi,

I am a cigar newbie and I just bought two cigars (Romeo y Julietas) from a store and they are each individually wrapped with plastic and were inside the store's wall humidor. The cashier put them in a little baggie and sealed them tight. Is there a time limit when the cigar's freshness will expire without me putting them in a humidor. I mean they are within two layers of plastic.

Just a general question, I don't have a big cigar collection so do i need a humidor or will these plastic bags work fine?

Also, how far down the cigar should I cut it?

    Thanks
