This isn't my first one, but tonight, wow. These are very good IMHO.
I had one yesterday and was pretty impressed as well.

Alec Bradley American Classic. Just OK. Had other American blends I liked much better.

You're not having a good run with Alec Bradley smokes it seems. I've only had two of the T62 years ago and they were good. Pretty sure they were called T62.

Well, truth be told, american blends aren't my favorite to begin with. So, it was already working at a deficit for me. That's not to say I don't try to appreciate something different.

I wouldn't necessarily say that. The Prensado's I've had so far were fantastic. It's just the others that didn't work for me so far.

IMHO, american style blends work best at a mild-medium profile. The flavors tend to be subtle and easily overpowered. This particular cigar was a medium (or stronger) strength and wound up tasting a bit harsh as it didn't have enough else to balance it out. My favorite American style cigar so far has been the cigar.com house blend. An American puro believe it or not. Like I said though, that style is not my preferred blend anyway. For a milder cost-effective cigar the HC white is my favorite so far.

Interesting. Cigar.com house blend... Hmm. American Puro... double hmm. Thanks for the information @kenyth. Maybe I'll try the HC white also.

I know right? I can't recall ever seeing an American puro anywhere else, ever. I had to try it just to say I did. Not that it's a great cigar, but it was decent, and unique.

Tatuaje makes one. I forget what it's called. It was in one of our megareviews.

Those tat's weren't bad if I recall correctly, but I didn't stock them.

A no name hand roll I got many years at the Colombia Resturant in Ybor City. Probably 12 years old. It aged well. I saw the guy roll it. Was Churchill sized.
