Yay! Cigars!
Padilla Obsidian - great smoke, but horribly uneven burn
JLP - 2nd one in a row that was plugged. Had to throw the first one away.
601 Maduro - was amazing. I had just finished a huge steak which made it that much better. I might try eating steaks before every cigar, see if it makes em better.

I was underwhelmed by the first two of these I smoked, but this one made me grab a toothpick, and I'm smoking it down to the last 32nd of an inch. Defuckinglicious.
Three small whiskies had gone to his head and Gallaher's strong cigar had confused his mind, for he was a delicate and abstinent person. (--from the short story 'A Little Cloud' by James Joyce)

Aside from the Tatuaje earlier,
Nub Habano Topedo..............wow, this things got some zing.
Aurora 1495 Robusto......great smoke.
Edge Lite while sipping Paklum Tips Silver Needles White tea.
A marriage made in heaven.

Mid-afternoon:
Legend Series Yellow Label - Don Pepin
Significant wrapper and burn problems. I've tried to convince myself I like these. Good price. Rave reviews.
They're an average stick that doesn't hold a candle to what Pepin can do.
I'd rather smoke fewer cigars than buy these for a price break.

Thanks, that's good to know, and not surprising. I have smoked the Orange Label and found it enjoyable, but it has been a while. I have one remaining, so will smoke it this week. As for tonight, I'm going to ensure success and cap off the weekend with a Gurkha Legend Aniversario Perfecto.

smoked a 5 Vegas A tonight. It was my first Maduro smoke. I really liked it. definitely something i'm gonna smoke again.
Well, the Legend Aniversario Perfecto hit the spot, but the Gurkha Legend Torpedo remains my favorite.
