Just got finnished smoking a Famous Buenos Madurito Maduro. It was a nice small stick with leathery and ceadary notes with a slight sweetness on the finish. Nice smoke and one that I would be interested in the future to either buy a box or do a box split. Special thanks goes to Irish 79 who gave me the wonderful opportunity. Thanks.
Just another day at the office!

I smoked a La Aroma de Cuba Torpedo. This was one of the new blends by D Pepin with the red ribbon at the foot. I tried the LADC line before and did not care for them much, but these reblends are fantastic, imo. Anyone else try these yet?

Glad you enjoyed it Roger. Those are some of my favorite budget smokes and I owe this board a big 'thank you' for introducing them to me. The ones you have were box dated over a year ago & in my cooler since August.

At first I didn't care for it too much because it was too weak for me. Then I tried another some time later nd I like it when in the mood for a mildish spicy smoke with good flavor.

    Yesterday I had:

Don Pepin Garcia - Cuban Classic - Decent smoke. Started off strong, wasn't a fan for the first part of it.. but ended up being a good stick

5 Vegas Series 'A' - I really liked this one, start to finish.. enjoyed it with a Sierra Nevada Pale Ale while sitting in the hot tub. I will buy this one again!!

Casa Torano Exodus 1959...awesome maduro. It was a nice step up for me on the strength scale of cigars, I was absolutely in love with the few flavors I was able to pick up. I tasted some cocoa and a little bit of pepper (thats the best way I can really describe it) and a very nice strong tobacco flavor. Thanks to sammis for hooking me up with this one, I will definitely be looking for more soon.
