The Padron 60th was good but didn’t blow me away, lots of other less pricey Padrons I would rather have. Maybe I’ll give the maduro a shot someday. Finishing off the day with a Tabernacle. These are very enjoyable imo.

Hot Cake by HVC. This is a new one to me, I’m close to halfway and it’s not bad so far. Some nice coffee, chocolate, and woody notes in this one.

AF 858 Rosado Sungrown last night. Different than the natural SG but still very good.

Day 4 of vacation and I have been chaining AF 858 Natural Sungrown and Padron 3000 natural and maduro. A lot of each.

Having a Bolivar PC to start the holiday afternoon

Quai D’Orsay 50. Never had one of these before. Super creamy smoke texture, flavor notes started as wood and mineral with a touch of sweetness, by about halfway the mineral flavor was replaced by more sweetness and some coffee. Wasn’t too excited with how it started but I am loving it now. Tight draws are my biggest issue with CCs, but this one is one of the rare ones with a perfect draw. Very enjoyable. If they were all constructed this well they might almost be worth the $ and trouble getting them.

Also, retrohale was super smooth and light in the beginning but has picked up a lot of pepper as it burns down.
