Default Complimented on cigar smell in street

Last night after the Rugby I was smoking an RASCC and a woman stopped me in the street (we can't smoke in the pubs anymore) and complimented me on the smell.

If only she was 20 years younger

I smoke outside at the Starbucks near my office on almost a daily basis. About once a week, a guy will tell me how good my cigar smells and will sometimes ask me what cigar it is, so I give him the band. Then, a few times per year, a woman will do the same thing, so I get flirty with her and ask her what she likes to smoke and have some fun flirting .
There's only two kinds of cigars, the kind you like and the kind you don't.

I do get the odd compliment. The one classy place I used to smoke at had some very friendly waitresses and most of them loved the smell of premium cigars.

On the other hand sometimes in the bars, back when you could smoke in them, you would get the bitch smoking a cigarette who would whine to their friends just loud enough for you to hear that they are allergic to smoke blah blah blah...at which point I would be sure to blow a nice big puff in their general direction.

I'll get a compliment from time to time, but it comes mostly from older women. Believe it or not I have had more women compliment than bitch about it. Lucky for me my girlfriend likes the smells and even smokes with me

I got a compliment from my mom actually. I was smoking one of my few premiums on the porch off of the basement of my parents house, and she was up on the balcony. She said it smelled great and actually came down to smell it more clearly.

I got a complement yesterday are i was smoking a RP Cuban Blend. Unfortunitly it wasn't from a girl. Never the less, my fiance also like the smell of my cigars and thats really what matters most to me. It means i dont have to listen to any bitching when i smoke!

Damn, you too? Whenever I'm outside smoking and my GF is with me, I always ask her if she likes the smell of the cigar. If she says no, I keep it in mind and make sure I don't smoke that stick whenever I'm with her. If she says yes, then I'm all set.

I like her company, so I try to make it as pleasant as possible whenever I smoke around her.

People who like cigars generally seem to like earthy, smoky, and woodsy aromas. My wife hates all of the above. I like to garden and am a bit fond of the outdoors, so I like those kinds of smells. I think good clean dirt (loam) smells good, along with the smell of plants in the summer, and leaves in the fall.
