There are also much better cigars that can be purchased for as little as $1 a stick.

I wouldn't mind helping you get dollar sticks, I have 15 or so that are mild and I would like to get rid of, BUT it's getting it through customs and to your doorstep without any problems. Plus, wouldn't shipping alone make it more than a buck a stick?

Its really not hard getting it past customs. Just label it as something else, like "candles" or "birthday present" and as a gift. And a low value like $10. I've only had 2 packages open before, one was misread as $112, when it was actually $42. And the other was labeled cigars.
Shipping should be around $8 I think.

Try looking through JRcigars.com, specifically the JR alternatives, also famous-smoke.com has some good cigars under the Famous brand, including famous exclusives. I like the madurito's, which unfortunatelyare out of stock right now, but you get 40 per box for 29 bucks. Tasty little short smokes.

Two years ago or so I had a big shipment of cigars coming in from Miami via UPS. I got a call that morning from a nice gentleman with the local Vice unit. He wanted to verify that I was expecting the package and that I actually existed.

(Apparently people send other people drugs from Miami on a regular basis )

The detective proceeded to tell me that the "candles" would soon be on the way to UPS for delivery. After a good laugh I let the guy know that it was a cigar shipment to which he replied "ohh, that works too!".

It was pretty funny all around.

mister_bin I wasn't trying to work you up about it. I guess I need to work on my wording more. I guess what I was trying to say is that the buck cigars for the most part are a waste for someone that is into cigars. At times you do find something that isn't but most times it's a waste of humidor/coolidor space. If you are looking for something to hand out for people that really don't smoke then this might be a good idea. I smoke once or twice a week when lucky so I tend not take a chance on something at a buck. Plus I have been taught by some of the best snobs.

For future reference this should be labeled as a "Box split" on the subject line.

Since that is what you were looking for to.

"buy me these" is more so reserved for established users in a modified trade situation...

Come on guys. He's looking for a box of cheap cigars to hand out to moochers. Don't try to make it out to be more than it really is.

If I'm looking for giveaway cigars for my friends I sure as hell aren't going to hit up the newb sampler, because not one of my newb sampler smokes were dog rockets.

Mister_bin, if you're looking for some Canadian friendly retailers, feel free to PM me, or maybe one of our US botls will help you out with the shipping.

LMAO.... good to see Chris is back.....
I'm not big on doing reviews, tobacco doesn't taste like "cocoa" or "nutty" or "mocha" to me, it tastes like freakin' TOBACCO. I know what I like and I really don't care what other people think of other cigars. I've never read a review and said to myself "Wow, that sounds like a cigar I'd like to try!"
