Its really not hard getting it past customs. Just label it as something else, like "candles" or "birthday present" and as a gift.
Two years ago or so I had a big shipment of cigars coming in from Miami via UPS. I got a call that morning from a nice gentleman with the local Vice unit. He wanted to verify that I was expecting the package and that I actually existed.

The detective proceeded to tell me that the "candles" would soon be on the way to UPS for delivery. After a good laugh I let the guy know that it was a cigar shipment to which he replied "ohh, that works too!".
It was pretty funny all around.
