    Default Wrapped Cigars in Humidor

First off i just found this forum and love it!!!!

As you know many cigars are coming individually wrapped in a plastic wrapper these days. Most of the wrappers aren't sealed but folded at the end. I was wondering what should be done when putting these into my humidor. Should they be taken out of this wrapper or be left in the wrapper. I am thinking that although the wrapper isn't sealed there it may cause a bit of humidity build up within the wrapper. Interested to see what most of you do

    Thanks,

    Guenzak

Welcome to the community. You might want to read over this thread: http://www.cigarsmokers.com/t90-wrap...9n-or-off.html which gives some good advice on the subject.

    Thanks Hex,

That thread was very informative. I think I am leaning towards leaving the cello on...

Not a problem. I was a cello off person myself, but that thread and personal experienced helped me change my mind.

Take it off before you smoke it.

Personally, I like to unwrap my smokes before placing them in my humidor. Allows them to breathe a bit better, in my opinion. The only exception to this rule is if I have many different brands in the same humidor. This might happen after a show like the Big Smoke, when you get 25-30 cigars, all from different manufacturers. My thought is, that the flavors may bleed onto each other. That is the only time I leave them wrapped.
