Those few individuals, the "Misfit Toys" - you know, the toys nobody wanted to have anything to do with - decided to create a Utopia amongst themselves. Great plan, there, Scotty... Worked like a charm... You guys gave each other back slaps and high fives to the point where you couldn't stand to do it anymore. You and your pals lurked on the other boards, looking for signs they were talking about you. And no one was. No one was watching the Island - no one was paying attention to the Island - the board just sank, and sank, and sank... People started realizing how truly lame the site was.
The best part of this story, which Scotty won't address or admit - LTC banned some great people. People like AlexGTP, who was over there to make the site better - much to the pain of other people on other boards. Alex stood up for himself, despite people asking him WTF, and then as a result of his associations (and his occasional disagreement with the other mods and the site admin, Zac), Alex was banned. Why was Alex banned, Scotty??? You know the reason... Because he DARED to say that the flaming needed to run its course - just like Hex allowed here. He told all of you how childish you were being.
Now comes the latest membership drive. You want to regain the days of old - when you were head cheese... You're doing a great job of attracting quality members over there. With your talk of the "Cat". Reviving interest in that board by using this board - bringing members from there to here, and from here to there. But it seems the reputation of the board is what it is. You say I am welcome over there with the "new" open membership plan - I highly doubt it. To be honest, I wouldn't waste my time... I only have so much time to spend on the boards, and I choose quality places to be...
I'm really getting to like this board. It surely is much different than the Island. But boy, I see this is just eating the crap out of you, Scotty - Hex allowing opinions to flow. All of us - LabMonkey, Roham, Drake, CC, Me, Scotty - allowed to say what we please. While I'm sure you, Scotty, would like this fight to polarize a bit more - is sure hasn't. And boy would you be in HEAVEN if they banned CC and/or myself... Why, Scotty - would you "win"???
I don't think Scotty realizes it, but he is losing. With an ego the size of a Mack truck, I doubt he catches it. While he has made friends of some of the members of this board, he's too egotistical to realize that while he thinks he's winning over droves of friends, others are looking at how truly pathetic and sad he is.
I know you're going to accuse me of siding with Bill on this, but the facts speak for themselves. Scotty - your personality is shining through all of your posts - exactly as CC said it would. Clearly you are baiting CC into arguments for the sake of trashing him on so-called neutral ground. And equally clear is your plan of attack against CC - as you have laid out in your strategy PM's to other members.
A while back I told you I was on the fence with you. I saw what was going on at CP and said, "WTF!" I saw you attack people over there that you had no business attacking - and then apologize - and then attack again. Make a post that others back up what you say - that you were flawless and it wouldn't stick. How you had the backing of other members of the board in your opinions. I stood on the sidelines watching, trying to figure out your motivation. Now I CLEARLY see what your motivation is... Feeding your ego - making you the center of attention - "master passer", "flawless", and other such equally disgusting terms.
You again proved this with your latest series of attacks. When there is a lull in the arguing here, you just had to start up with CC. This is a classic example of why you are persona non grata at CP.
Your reputation is out there. People know what you're about. While new people may warm up to you initially, eventually your personality shines through and you will be right back to where you are. You can't help it Scotty, you are who you are.
Maybe you should stay in a large group setting, like CigarWeekly or Herfer's Paradise, where the focus can't always be on you. With that ego of yours, when you get in a larger group setting like that there are more people to pummel you when you make an ass out of yourself. That'll keep you in check.
So - don't blame all your woes on Bill, or Leebo, or Judge Judy, or JoeM, or Mo, or anyone else - just keep it up Scotty - you are your own worst enemy...
Though I would imagine people here would be shocked that he had such a problem acting in a civil manner towards others. His split personality of Moheganson acted like a jerk and got banned. Anyways, he and his buds trashed the site and Zac got fed up and made it private. I was one of the earliest people suggesting to go public again and was very consistent about that. Yes, it is coming off the ground. Bill likes to pretend the site just went down on it's own, he takes no ownership of the fact that he and his buds caused that to happen. They are arrogant towards site owners, telling them how to run a site and why a site owner should cave in to them. Zac was one of a few that doesn't, and LTC paid the price. They also hate Cigar Weekly because CW doesn't tolerate their crap.
