So I'm going to be in Seal Beach, CA for an interview on Monday, 8/13. Is there anyone out there or are there any suggestions for a nice place to spend part of a Monday night?
Thanks,
spiffy

You can drive up to Long Beach and hang with Snoop Dogg and tha Dogg Pound, head up to LA and go clubbing, see if there is a ballgame going on at Anaheim Stadium, drive down to Huntington Beach and go to one of the many bars to chat it up with some locals about the surf twenty some odd years ago, there are a couple of clubs in the Newport area (club Vegas is a personal fav) that are worth checking out, you can go to Buena Park's "Medieval Times" and eat a whole cornish hen with soup served in an oversized spoon, catch the back nine at the Palos Verdes Country Club, or order dirty movies in house, rub one out and call it a night.
Too bad you don't have more free time, I'd pick you up and teach you to surf. No better way to spend a day than surf, eat lunch, and smoke a nice stogie.![]()
Yeah, I wish work would pay for a few extra days, but they seem to frown on that kind of thing.
Actually, if I get this job then I'll be on a rotation and be at a new site every few months so it might be a good opportunity to meet a few new people.
The Angels are out of town that day but by a happy coincidence the Astros (best team EVER!) just happen to be playing at the Dodgers so I am gonna have to check that out.
I have a couple of friends in Long Beach that I'm gonna meet up with, just didn't know if anyone was local to Seal Beach and could recommend a cigar friendly spot or a B&M.
Hershey, my friends out in CA have always said that if I spend any amount of time out there I will have to learn to surf. Definitely something I'm going to learn eventually.

Right on, eat a dodger dog for me!
