    Default Lesser known gems

So there are a lot of cigars out there that are over-hyped and over-priced. Some companies do this with everything they sell.

Then there are those lesser known cigars that are actually quite good.

What i am wondering is what are your favoritew "little knon" cigars, your personal gems?

One of my favorites is the Tres Hermanos, made by the Cigar Factory in New Orleans, in the French quarter. One helluva good smoke, I smoke the #3, and a box of 25 goes for about $100.

I like the El Rico Habano cigar. Cheap and tasty.

Sweet. I'm going down to New Orleans next weekend. I'll have to check it out.

I like the new "Conquista" by Rocky Patel sold exclusively at www.tampahumidor.com. I just really love the look of the oil-rich wrapper, plus they are a little more full-bodied than the vintage series and a little less full bodied than the edge. Last but not least, they are very affordable.

I try and read a lot of blind cigar reviews for this very reason. A couple on my list to try are:

    Maria Mancini Magic Mountain
    Gurkha Legend
Don Tomas Special Edition Corojo Maduro
    La Gloria Wavell Madoro

One every day cigar I liked is the Primo Del Rey Maduro which was suggested to me by my local B&M. I plan on picking up 5-10 more for a poker game next week.

    Hope this helps.

I absolutely love the Joya de Nicaragua. A box runs 70ish dollars depending on size. Great flavor.

Celebs are same filler but a Criollo wrapper,a little milder but still a strong smoke. Dont jump through hoops to get any,Antanos are better IMHO

    Hidden Gems
Flor de Oliva (bundles)Maduro and Corojo
The older I get ,the better I was

Like night and day. You know what a punch the Antona packs. The Celebracion is a very light and feathery cigar.

Flor de Oliva cigars are pretty good as well and are $2.00--$3.00 per stick.
Don Kiki cigars are a good bargain, plus I got them with the humidor I purchased.
