My question is about cuban cigarettes with cigar tobacco, so I hope I can still post it at a cigar site Both Cohiba and Romeo Y Juliet produce a cigarette from cigar tobacco (Cohiba calls them cigarillo negros). They taste great, and much different than domestic cigarettes. However, they are of course very hard to obtain. Canada doesn't even allow them because of labeling regulations. I've read one other site that compares them to French Brunes Gitanes, which I haven't tried before and would like to try as an alternative. I am trying to find a cigarette with a similar taste/make that I can purchase in the states. In particular, I've been trying to find out if there are any Dominican Republic versions of these or any other brand cigarettes from the Dominican Republic, which are legal in the US? Does the Dominican Republic make a cigarette with cigar tobacco, similiar to the Cubans?
Thanx for your help!
