What a day

For my upcoming deployment we got to play war also. Although not with paint guns. We had M-16's with blanks. I amazed myself by finishing my camelpak, 80oz of water, in about 3 hours. I didn't know I could drink that much water in 3 hours. I was close to what I needed for the day in water intake which is 109oz. That just short of one gallon. Needless to say, I wasn't dehydrated that day.

Which was a good thing because we where also defending a village from the enemy. The really cool thing was in the end the instructors started something they call fun time. They give us the rest of the ammo and then charge us. You can empty a 20 round clip quick!

Here's hoping that you heal quickly. Some of those Paintball marks can be brutal in an ugly way.

Sounds like a fun day at the office though.

I saw some of the police recruits doing that last saturday. Looked kinda fun.

Never played paintball but heard stories. really would love to try it but more like in the 70 to 80 degree weather

Only time I ever played paintball......I got a direct hit in the sack......I'll trade ya for your bloody nose sarge......never played that f'in game again.

this happened to a friend of mine. after months of trying to get him to play he finally gives in only to be shot almost point blank in goods. never played again.

Naw, it really was fun right up to the excruciating (sp?) pain and vomiting.

I still laugh at people that wear "cups" out to paintball. I am sure my day will come but till then...
