I got into what's called the Enterprise Auditor program with my current employer, Boeing.
Basically its a rotation program where I'll get to experience every aspect of the company everywhere we do business. Mostly engineers go into the program so I should feel right at home. Every quarter I'll be going to a new business site, sometimes several times a quarter.
At first my home will still be Houston but I'll be traveling almost all the time. When my wife starts her PhD program I'll change my home location to wherever she is, most likely Gainesville, FL.
I start in March so I have some time to figure everything out, but I'll definitely be trying to meet a bunch of y'all in person.

Congrats, I actually was born in Houston myself. For many years lived around the suburbs if your familier with Conroe, New Caney, and where I spent most my days Cleveland.
Wish you the best of luck on your new adventure.
Just moved from Dallas, to NYC. Get at me
Huh. Yeah, I actually grew up in Spring / The Woodlands, a little ways South of Conroe. Small world.

From the age of 10, I grew up in the 1960 area which at that time was unincorporated Harris County. So yes, it is a small world. Went to Klein high school.
There's only two kinds of cigars, the kind you like and the kind you don't.
