Smoke and a Coke....is it just me?

Tried Mountain Dew and a cigar last night.
Surprisingly it was a good mix.

i don't like coke. but dr. pepper is my favorite. and i don't like the off brands!

Dr. Thunder or Mt. Lightning for my cheap ass (Wally World brands).

Anything with a nice kick works great for me. The aforementioned sodas if I'm not in an adult beverage mood, or a nice scotch or bourbon if I am.

anyone ever try Red Bull or some type of energy drink with your smokes? I'm curious as to the effect that this might have. Maybe I'll try it out this weekend....

Soda just too sweet for me and leaves a nasty flavor in my mouth. Need to mix it with whiskey. Water or coffee works well.

I've tired Full Throttle with a cigar, no real effect happened for me, just a good thirst quincher.
To me it's the same as having soda with a cigar, except it has a lot more carbonation.

I think maybe it is the carbonation that makes it good. It adds a different kind of bite than what the cigar gives. I had a Cherry Coke with my smoke tonight......
