Where did the "Who's tired of seeing CC86 blast SFG...." poll go?

Hey now WTF is going on here? Why was that whole thread deleted? That thread was started almost three weeks ago and had thirteen pages of posts, many of which were relevant to how people interact with others around here and on other cigar boards.

Are we back to the bullshit of deleting threads and locking threads? If so as Kevin7 pointed out in a thread he started "Where's the prick poll?" which has ALSO been locked, this place will be nothing but crickets chirping before you know it.

CigarJack, that thread was started LONG before you were given your power as a moderator and hex didn't have a problem with it and you should not have deleted it.

As far as "the prick" poll, it should have stayed up just to prove to the rest of the board that ther person who started it (that would be SFG75) is nothing but a worthless troublemaker.

And your stupid demand that problems be "taken to PM" is just that, STUPID. There is no good reason to deal with unreasonable, arrogant, egotistical people (like Scotty and rohan) via PMs. Their bile should be posted for all to see, this hiding behind PMs is for babies.

Don't turn this place into another Island of the Misfit Toys.

It seems Hex has a cowboy on his hands. Overmoderating will do nothing but cause war and strife this is a PROVEN FACT. When you mess with peoples posts and wildly delete stuff you will have a whicked backlash. Most boards find a happy middle without much moderating needing to be done. I kinda like this place but I wont stick around to be edited and deleted by a mod for long at all. K7

Coventrycat86 has "warned" everyone about me and people have obviously made up their minds as to whether or not they will communicate or do deals with me. The majority of the board has weighed in and the overall sentiment is that people here don't really care about what happens on others boards. Those that do, have been adequately warned as previously stated. CigarJack was right, this kind of stuff should be taken up via PM as of now. My poll and others like it, are perhaps doing more harm than good to the board. Newbies get scared off by that kind of thing and there just comes a time when folks agree to disagree.

I would caution people against bashing the moderators. We are all guests on hex's site and should abide by how he wants things run since he pays the bills for this site. If folks don't like it, they may leave. I guess it's obvious as to how I will choose to conduct myself now that a mod has stepped in.

Scotty, you have a proven track record of trolling, baiting and looking to start trouble and then attempting to portray yourself as some kind of huge asset to this and any other cigar board which is certainly not the case. This is why I object to evidence that demonstrates those characteristics of yours being deleted which I'm sure is okay with you since the end result is your crimes and misdeeds are covered up.

No one is "bashing" the moderators here. When the moderators do something that is "stupid" in my opinion, I'm going to post my opinion for the other members to see. People like you thrive on whispering via PMs because you get to cover up and subsequently cover your tracks. If a moderator wants to abuse his moderator privileges and delete my posts WITHOUT first sending me a PM, which quite frankly pisses me off, then I'll post a public post about it every time it happens for ALL to see since he thought it was okay to delete my posts publicly without consulting me first.

Yep, not my board but it's not CigarJack's board either........and if hex wants to condone over moderating then I see the crickets lining up at the door...........

Oblik was already "counseled" and I think CigarJack should be counseled as well.

What is accomplished through disagreements outside of threads set up for that given purpose and harassing posts after mine, really contributes nothing of value to the board IMHO.

PM Hex about WHAT? You're pulling your classic doubletalk and changing the subject again. My point is that posts you make and lame polls that you start should not be deleted but rather should stay up for everyone to see so they can draw their own conclusions about you and/or any one else here.

Very interesting Scotty. Do you talk out of both sides of your mouth on a regular basis or just once in a great while? If I remember correctly, you whined and bitched about SaintLuisRey sending "hundreds" of emails to you and Zac on the Island (when he was trying to "work out" a problem with your piss poor moderating) when in fact, you started the PM exchange with him first with your "moderating" bull$hit. He showed me your PM's which is why I absolutely refuse to communicate with you via PM or email because while you are bad enough when you post publicly, you are a complete asshole via PM & email.

So do tell, should people communicate via PM and have you whine about being "flooded" or should they post publicly on the boards and have you whine and bitch that it should "be taken to PM"???
