    Default How many Flames??

Well since I got my humidor setup and some nice smokes on order (box of Onyx and Sancho Panaza Dbl Maduro) with an ash tray. I am now on the look out for a good torch lighter and cutter. The cutter isnt really a problem as I am going with a Xicar of some sorts, just need to decide which one.

But I have no clue about what lighter I want. My biggest question is: How many flames do I need. I currently have a cheap 3 flame butane lighter. But I want to get one that looks and performs a little better. Is there really any advantage to more than one flame on a torch? It seems like most times with my current 3 flame one, I am only using 1 flame, maybe 2 at the most depending how I have it turned. So common sense tells me 2 should be all I need, if that. But I see alot with only 1 flame which makes me think 1 is more than enough.

I am only looking to spend about $30 if not less on one. Ive seen a few Colbri that I like on Cigars International. So I am thinking about just getting one of those. But I kinda wanted to get some other opinions before I bought a new one.

So any thoughts would be great and much appreciated.

I have a nice Xikar torch, and I reach for wooden matches every time.

I use a bic or matches........I did get a Zippo Blu in the mail a while back, used it once or twice just to check it out. Seems to work fine, but I think I'll only use it when its really windy out.

Eh, I had to use a bic when I was in Boston since I couldnt take my torch with me and I really didnt like it. To me a bic was fine when I was smoking Phillie Blunts or Swisher Sweets, but I dont like using one on a good smoke. Now I will use a bic if I absolutely have to, but then again I would use matches before a bic. Just my personal preference.

Guess Ill just find a good lookin Colbri or sumtin similar that I like and just not worry about how many flames it has.
