Default Today is Positive Reputation Day !!!

Today, the 26th of October, is Positive Reputation Day. This is a tradition that came over on the Santa Maria and spread to the New World. When the Native Americans taught the Pilgrims how to grow maize, what do you think was their payment? You guessed it, positive reputation points. When they taught them how to half bury a fish in the ground, positive reputation points followed. This new practice would shape the United States into what it is today. I remember sitting around the pumpkin with my grandpa listening to him tell stories while he puffed away on his tobacco pipe and giving him positive reputation points afterwards. We did this every year until grandpa finally walked down that distinguished road of gold.

And now another year has passed and we are greeted with this warm holiday once again. So today, leave someone some good reputation points. Tell someone you enjoyed their witty post or insightful input. Let someone know you care today.

Oh. I thought that Native Am.s were paid off in beads and biological genocide.

Yes, it eventually came to this, but the Native Americans would ultimately bounce back as the Pilgrims were left with thousands of negative reputation points.

I paid plenty attention in school- just not to what the teachers were trying to tell me. Boo Yah!

Well you all got a point from me. Except Ted. Not that I didn't try but the forum software said I had to spread it around some more before I could give more points to Ted.

what is the difference between the green dot and the blue dot on the positive feedback icon? The only blue one i have is from enhaf. Does that mean he is 'different'?

Ya, I had one too. It's seems like if the new guys leave feedback, it's not green for some reason.

Does that discredit the possitive rep then? Like halh a point instead of a 1.0?

I think so. Didn't seem to add to mine, of course, I've had so many that it started deleted the oldest.
