Had two glasses of Mt. Begbie Tall Timber Ale. Beautiful beer!

Eel River Porter while watching the Lakers. Ouch.

The beer wasn't bad - it's actually very chocolately and very coffeeee. I liked it. Borderline a Starbucks drink. Only thing that made it different was that it wasn't that sweet and was 5.8% alcohol. It was the game that was ouch.

New Belgium Somersault - Good summery beer. A little too citrusy for my liking but refreshing nonetheless.

Great Divide Hades - It was like a cross between a Belgian white and Stella Artois. I didn't like it at all.

Alaskan Brewing Company Summer Ale - Nice and refreshing but lacked depth in my opinion.

As summer gets going I like to try the various seasonal beers. I haven't found any thus far that will become a regular beer for the summer. Any suggestions?

I'm not sure if it's actually a seasonal beer, but I really like Sam's Blackberry Witbier in the summer, lounging in the lake. Of course I have to go club a seal afterwards to get my testosterone back up, but I find it to be worth it.

I'll have to check out the Sam's. Thanks for the recommendation!

    Way too sweet.

Breckenridge Brewery 471 Small Batch IPA

Full body, fairly tame for a 9.2 abv "double hopped" IPA, pretty good beer.
