    Agree, teflon tape might help. Also could try an adhesive which would secure the hygro and seal at the same time. Probably not a lot of air flow even with loose fitting. Best way to probably tell if it makes a difference is check the hygro to see if it's holding steady. If so, no worries. If not, would try the repairs.

    Well the analog hygrometer stays at a constant 40% no matter what, so I think its FUBAR. And my 65% beads cant seem to keep the RH above 60% without a shoot glass of water in there with them. So thats why I think Im having a seal issue around the exterior hygrometer.

    Either that or Im just too stupid to be able to use beads.
