I had the Root..... not a bad cigar at all...... didn't really hit me like a flavored cigar
The Natural line isn't flavored, I can't stand ACIDs, but the Java isn't bad I did a review on it earlier, I also like the Mayorga Coffee Infused they did.
I hear ya there. The mayorga coffee infused is pretty good. That's one of the few flavoreds that I still enjoy.Originally Posted by Cigar Jack
I've got a few Natural Robustos. They have a pig-tail cap and appear to be well made. Just can't bring myself to smoke em.Anybody want to trade some real cigars for em, let me know.
I like the Mayorga Coffee Infused. I have a couple of tins that I've been smoking at work.
I love the Naturals line. Many of the Acids are a bit too much for my tastes, but I find Many of the Naturals line to be quite mellow.
assume that all of Drew's cigars are flavored as his "Acid" line is.
I have been seeing his "normal" cigars in local shops now for a few years and because of the association I never bought any.
I was in a small shop close to home yesterday and they had Drew LVH's, Churchills at $2.25 for a single. I figured what the hell. Cheap enough and they smelled good (not that pre-light tells you anything of actual flavor).
I have to admit I was pleasantly surprised. I have found a new inexpensive smoke that tastes great. Granted a bit sharp but loaded with complex flavors. Sweet wood finish, but not the least bit dry, floral notes and develops into a sweet, peppery smoke for the last third. A good drinking cigar!
I went back to the shop today and bought a box for $40. Not bad at all.
I tip my hat to Drew & Co.![]()
