Default Fixing the seal on a Cooler

Ok so, I am now out of room in the 28qt cooler I have been using.(Yes, I am now a Cbid addict.) I was going to buy a new one, but I have an old 74qt cooler laying around that I thought about trying first. The only thing is, is the seal isnt that great. So I was thinking about adding some weather stripping to the lid, to improve the seal. Anyone know if this will work or have any other recommendations?

Other wise, I need to determine if I want to get a 75qt or a 100qt cooler.

How did you messed up the seal? I'd say get a 100qt for two simple reasons. First, the time spent getting your busted cooler to work could have been spent going to Walmart and second, you will out grow the smaller coolers. Additionally, an old cooler could have residual smells you dont want surounding your smokes and new coolers right now are cheap as a 60 year old prostitute

Well I made a trip out to Walmart to day, and picked up an Igloo Polar 120qt cooler for $50.

I got 1lb of beads, think that will be enough for it?

Think I might pick up another lb just to keep on hand either way.

Now all that is left is get my bills in order and start buying some more cigars........er well after I save up and get my box of Sopranos and PAMs around March, just in time for my birthday.
