    Default How was your Christmas?!

Just a “Gee Whiz” question. Was Christmas good to you? What’s the coolest gift you got this year? Also, what’s the worst gift you got? I always like to hear what other people got…I like to see what they liked and what they didn’t.

My Christmas was great!!! Aside from my Secret Santa from CS.com who gave me some REALLY nice sticks (still don’t know who you are) I got a really nice gift from the wife! I’m a BIG SF Giants Fan; my wife has a friend who owns session tickets. My wife set it up with her friend to hook me up with 10 games next session, My Choice!!!

Worst gift…a coffee mug from my brother that says, "Super Pimp” I think I may “Re-Gift” this one.

How about the rest of you? Best and worst gift this year…

Beginning with Christmas, I took 6 days off. I've been trying to find a direction for the interior of my house - painting, decorating, etc. GF and I have worked at it, argued about it, and then stalled out. She has a friend in Austin who does this for a living with new homes mostly. He came up and while I was gone Christmas day, they started in the kitchen. I was back the next day and stayed hooked up with this guy's ideas until I finished yesterday, working about 10 hours each day. The inside of my house is incredible - kitchen, living room, dining room, and main hall are re-done and there's no way I would've tried this on my own. This thing has been hanging for the better part of a year and now except for a few details, it's finished. The goal was to be ready for a couple of parties for my senior who graduates in May, and now we're ready. So, help from a couple of wonderful people providing ideas, and the momentum to finish this project was the best (and unexpected!) present this year.

I don't think I have ever received a "bad" x-mas present. I had a wonderful X-mas this year, filled with family, friends, good drinks and good smokes.... Now, if the casino is just good to me tonite, and our designated driver stays sober it will be another successful holiday season.

Have a SAFE and happy New Year everyone!!

I had a good Christmas with 2 exceptions. A lousy Perdomo and an even worse CAO. I finally got some relief when I broke down and smoked a Fuente GOF. NICE!

Christmas was not bad this year. Best present was being able to spend a day with my dad out in the country burying and cementing in a 16ft pole. Worse present was being dumped(If not having her answer my phone calls is called "dumped") by my girlfriend the week following up to Christmas with no real reason

And Honorable mentions go out to Santa Claus from the UK who sent me some Gentlemans relish and Marmite. I don't know how god invented those things and I never knew about it!!!

Sorry, I'm certainly not condemning CAOs nor the Perdomos. The Perdomo was a Reserve "Perfecto" that I had smoked before. I thought they tasted a lot like Gurkha Perfectos so I bought a box. I just grabbed one that didn't burn well and was somewhat bitter. The CAO was a little robusto that came in a sampler. Again, I have had some very good CAO's so this was just the luck of the draw. No pun intended.

Mine was sitting in my room with my roommate. Saying Merry Christmas and looking forward to the New Year.

I get my gifts when I get home.

Nothing to be sorry for, I was just curious. I like CAO in general, but have had some bad experiences with some of their sticks........same with Perdomo.

No bad gifts for me although my wife and I receieved a decorative wooden sign with the family's name on it. A great gift except for they spelled our last name wrong, which is pretty common. We got a good laugh out of it and tried to make sure we didn't make them feel bad for the mistake.

Some of the better gifts I recieved were an outdoor fire pit thingy and some good swag and cigars from my SS.

i got some good scotch, a cordless drill, a tool box for the truck, some nice clothes and a few cigars. Christmas was crazy and i didn't really find myself relaxing until we got back on the 30th. My fiance and I put 813 miles on my truck driving from one parents house to another to another. The best part was spending time with my grandpa up in Philly and introducing Heather to him. The worst part was introducing our partens to the concept of sharing time with us on holidays.

I guess it's time to post in this thread.

Worst gift was a novel-tee shirt from my redneck half-uncle. It was one of those black shirts with white writing that say really immature things. This one said "IT MUST BE A USER ERROR" I don't even know wtf that is suppose to mean. He said he knew I like computers.

Best gift was from Sarah. She got me a box of Carlos Torano Virtuoso (my favorite cigar) and a fiver of some premium sticks (Padron Anniv., 601's, Tats, etc) I was going through a bit of a money problem and my cigar stash was getting low. She doesn't make much money but worked her ass off to get me those - plus she had to drive 45 min one way just to get em. She knew I've been wanting to buy some sticks but I didn't have the money, so she spent what little she had on that.

    She is definately the one.

Like those Virtuoso's too. Got a box of torps about 6 months ago and they're getting real good. Sweet box too. I still haven't exchanged gifts except but with a few on the list. Did get some trap shooting and cigar stuff. Had a week & 1/2 off and spent a chunk of it hunting in the middle of nowhere. Didn't see anything I wanted to shoot though. Spent Christmas morning in a tree stand with cold feet, watching a yearling for half the morning. Saw a gobbler put a small spike in his place when he got a little too close for comfort. Saw more turkeys than anything. First night I stood out in a field, smoking a cigar and drinking a Bass by myself. It was the brightest night I can remember. Clear and bright, not washed out by the city lights and noises.

Johnny Walker Black Lable, both bottles! As for the drill and whisky at the same time, well, it makes it more fun!
