Default Anyone ever use one of these?

Well I have an 80 mile round trip commute to Pittsburgh everyday, and Im in the car for at least an hour each way and more depending on traffic. On my way home I like to relax and have a cigar. But my car dosent have an ash tray (yes I AM ASHTRYLESS, guess I should have bought the lord puffer ashtray!) and I end up ashing out the window. I came across this one day when browsing Jr's site and wondered how it works. Just curious as to if anyone has ever used this or something like it. Or if any of you guys have any better ideas, cause Im sure there are some who smoke in the car on here.

My sister uses one of these for cigarettes, works just fine. just don't mistake it for your coffee cup in the dark

ashing out the window is bad if you have passengers in the back seat

Thats why I drive a coupe!

Even if there are people smashed in the back seat, they still wont get hit with ashes.

    LOL

I have one, bought it at the b/m for about $4 or $5 IIRC......it works, but the cigar rest kinda sticks out a bit so if you are cramped for room in your car they make them for cigarettes (sp?) that don't have the cigar rest......obviously the "ash-hole" is smaller so you have to crush the ashes a bit before they will fall down inside. I use the cigar one in my car and the cigarette one in the wifes car.

I've got one in both my personal truck and my work truck. The only problem is the cigar holder does stick out a ways and can get in the way. I've just learned which way to rotate it so that it is the least in the way. And don't slam the door when you close it because the cigar will fly out. Slam it too hard and the whole ash tray will fly off onto the floor.

I thought about getting one of these because I too drive a ton to and from work. But I always though it looked kinda cheap. Looks like it would break easy.

Sounds like they work pretty good...I'm Sold. Great post, thanks for the info!

I posted on these last summer. Works great for the boat, golf cart, camp chair. Anywhere with a drink holder. Didn't work well hanging from car door.

Bought one of these this summer when I took a road trip down to the states. It worked out great. As said by others, you just have to position it right so you don't knock into the cigar holder.

I have one in my truck that I purchased from JR. It works great sitting in the drink holder but doesn't fit well on the door. If I have a drink, my passenger will have to hold theirs.
