Hi,
I'm off travelling in january and february (backpacking). What do you think would be the best way to carry 5 cigars (Siglo IV) in a rucksack for around 2 months. I need to keep them fresh and intact!
Thanks!

Never had one but they look sturdy and I have heard many good things about them.

Ya, I got an otterbox and used it for a weekend of 4x4ing and camping. It was just a weekend but I can tell that it would of kept my cigars fresh for months if I needed it too. Great unit! Make sure you buy at least the 15 count otterbox though. I bought the 5 count and within a week exchanged it for the 15 count. It will hold 15 coronas so if you want to bring like 5 torpedos or belicosos then you need the 15 count.

I Just Use a simple 10-15 cigar stainless-steel humidor with an oversize humidity sponge. To keep them in place, I use 2 simple leather straps that are fascined to the inside of the humidor. It is tough, simple and very capable of keeping my stogies fresh. Plus it gives you the ability to keep more than 5 cigars, just in case you decide to buy more.....
The 15 count otterbox can hold more then 5 belicosos, I was just using that as an example. Just that there is no way it will hold 15 belicosos![]()

i think it would. i had 15 cigars in my 15 that weren't small cigars. only 2 were less that 48. it feels like it won't close, but it will. its kind of scary forcing it shut because you think your hurting your cigars, but its the foam that getting pressed together and it just holds your cigars tighter.Originally Posted by Roham
