Guess what? I'll post a reply this summer when we've had 34 days straight of 100+ smothering heat. You've never heard so much bitching. But, for about 9 months out of the year, no complaints.

North Myrtle Beach, SC. Midnight and I just came home in shorts, t shirt and filp flops. My ears and neck are still peeling from the sunburn I got last weekend playing in a Shriners golf tournament. Wait till mid June through Mid Sept when the heat index is 100+. Gotta drink those beers quick in the summer.

Yup. Over 2 feet of snow in 2 separate snowfalls over 3 weekends. Supposed to clear up around here by Tuesday/Wednesday.

Bah, you have it easy in Central Texas. Try the same heat wave with god-forsaken 90-100% humidity and you'll know the true face of hell.

I grew up in Louisiana, and am familiar with 100 degree days and high humidity. It's funny how you forget after a few years in California and Oregon. I still wear flip-flops and shorts, out of defiance. I just don't spend as much time outside. But I've always got a sweater on, know what I mean?

I am currently in central Oregon. Our first snow was in the middle of October of last year. Longer-termed residents claim that it's snowed in June here. I've lived in several different climates, and the hardest thing to adjust to (weather-wise) is finding the time to do the outside stuff you've always enjoyed. There will be other moves in the near-future, but I'd really like to eventually get some roots in.

    Okay. I'm done bitching.
