Here's wishing your father a successful surgery and a speedy recovery. He's in the right place, the Houston Medical Center is one of the best places on earth, he surely will be well taken care of.

Thanks for all the well wishes guys. We searched around quite a bit before choosing MD Anderson....it does seem like a fantastic place.

Just got off the phone with my sister and Pop is out of surgery.....all went well, though they had to do more extensive "work" than they anticipated. He tolerated it well anyway and is now on his way to the recovery room.

Thanks again to you all for the prayers and good thoughts.........
