I can wait. From what I hear these need to age for some time. lol you keep the extras.
I have not even had time to smoke one from the first split lol

I've had them fresh and with a year on them and liked them better fresh. A few others I've talk to have said the same. How old are you talking about?

I thought someone made a comment about letting them sit for at least 6 months? Maybe it was another smoke. I can still wait, I am in no rush.

I don't know anything about these cigars, but fresh-rolled means smoke now!

Like, don't wait a few weeks for the cigars to 'adjust,' smoke them right away!

At some point the cigars will go into a mild fermentation, and be, well, yuck for a while, and then yeah, sit on them for a year (or whatever).

Last bunch of fresh-rolled I had were great for about eight weeks, and then, boom! Instant dog-rocket. The ones left are coming back, after a year they're okay smokes, but nothing like what they were like when I got them.

As always, tastes vary, and no doubt some will prefer a finished taste over the unique fresh-rolled taste. However, if you haven't had fresh-rolled before, then I strongly suggest that you try it.

This are best smoke soon. I and a few others enjoy them ASP. If you can resist you might want to age some. Longest I got was a year on one and I like it better when I first got it. Who knows what a couple of years would do.

This was what I meant. All that stuck in this little mind of mine was 1 year. LOL.

I would be interested in a 5er of the Partagas Serie D NO.4 for the next split.
