What's going on here is jerry whined by reporting posts that people had made in some of his sale threads. He demanded that I and others be "banned" with those others being people who are my friends and anyone who posted any in his coffee sale threads not giving him a reach around. The site owner told him that wasn't going to happen.

This board has a system where senior members can request a ban poll be started on a member and it looks like more than one person suggested a ban poll be started on jerry.

jerry is a proven liar and I feel he cannot be trusted. And yes jerry, if I ever met you in person, I will tell you that right to your face.

However, just because I personally don't like this guy at this point, doesn't mean I think he should be "banned" here.

I'm voting for "no ban" in the hopes that jerry will grow a thicker skin and realize the error of his ways, apologize to me for lying and actually become a nice person. Ya never know, it could happen.

The way I see it, bannings should be reserved for true douchebags. Ya know, thieves / scammers / trolls / racists / making physical threats / violating board rules, etc......

Simply being a chickenshit, whiny, asshole doesn't qualify. Qualifies you for ridicule, contempt, whatever......but not banning.

If you're a chickenshit, whiny, asshole you just have to be prepared for the flashlight to hit you square in the mug so all can see. That has been done now.
