Yes, I am aware you were joking, but in all seriousness, I really want to find out how to identify these so I can be more informed.

....sets the mouse traps with lots of yummy cheese and beer. Makes a note no food for the cat for a few days.

Honesty I never smoked a cigar acid or real....I haven't even smoked a cigarette except maybe an eve the brand that had the pretty filter when I was 11. lmao!

This is my humidor its a 75-100 count Bally glass top I got in the mail this weekend. I've spent the past few days seasoning it and moving it around the house trying to find the right temp/Rh spot for it. Right now its at 74/64 but the temp. has been cooling down from 77 the past few hours since I've kept it at this certain spot. So I'm thinking by Friday I'll be ready for a newbie sampler...

Its just a start and I'm sure ill be setting up a coolidor within the next few months lol...

EDIT: Since I've moved it to my bedroom floor against the wall leading outside its been at 70/65 for the past few hours. so I'm feeling good about a putting some cigars in there now.

My brother-in-law picked up a few fake Monte's (complete with a mini glass top case) for me when he was on his honeymoon -- he didn't know any better -- they look like the edicion limitada you have. The biggest clue is the botched fluer de lis. The trick is to eyeball a real label before you go shopping -- I can spot a fake Cohiba from 20 paces now, but that wasn't always the case. For the most part, the Cubans take great pride in their cigars -- crooked labels, askew type set, rough cut edges on the labels are all certain indicators that something is hinky... I'll post some pics of the fake Monte's when I get a chance.

Play nice -- lots of knowledge here to be shared.

If your intent were to be truly "more informed" - perhaps it might be a good idea to welcome the opportunity to engage in this community regardless how you view the messenger.

...without question - and without much scrutiny - it is clear you have a substantial number of fakes amongst your stash.
