    An American without a car ... I met one once, but he lived in NYC, so that doesn't count.

    No car is almost ... Canadian! :-)

    5 or 11 years ago a new gas station opened by home and the owner was a christian man. He had the uaual counter bullshit for sale and it included those crackpipe minature roses in tubes. I asked him why he sold crack pipes and he had no idea that is what they were. Next time I stopped to get beer he had all the counter crap gone,he called the counter crap vendor and told him to take all the crap back
