Default Smoking in the summer vs winter

This might just be in my head, but smoking in the winter is far less enjoyable (not just the weather).
It might be cause of the cold or lower rh, but I find my sticks are muted in the colder months.
It's to the point where I can't even bring myself to light up a premium and rather just wait it out until it gets warmer.

    Is it just me?

As long as I can keep warm enough to stave off the CPS, I seem to enjoy my smokes in the winter just as much as the summer. Do you have a warm place to smoke?

I've don't recall a difference, and I'm just comparing smoking outside. I am able to smoke in my basement in the winter (and the summer) and I have a coal stove down there to keep it warm.

The only place to smoke indoors in the town I live in also has outdoor fire pits. I don't mind smoking in the cold - because then it looks like there's huge amounts of smoke being exhaled. The cold doesn't bother me much, but I can see it being a bother to others.

I've noticed the same thing. My smokes don't seem to burn the same in cold weather. I prefer to smoke outside, simply because I prefer to BE outside. But these (like today) -14 temps suck ass, at least as far as smoking, and drinking, and starting the truck, and scraping ice, and shoveling snow, and keeping snot from freezing to your lip, and ..... oh who am I kidding, winter just plain old sucks ass!

I was out on my own last year which is probably why I am more struck with the difference now. I did't really enjoy smoking indoors much either when I had the choice.

That's exactly how I feel. I mean my smokes don't 'taste' the same to me, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was just all in my head to go along with this crappy weather. Something just clicks in my head and I can't enjoy my smokes the same. I need to move somewhere that's autumn year round.

Your surroundings, the company you keep, the weather, etc.; all of those and other factors obviously play a part in how enjoyable your smoking experience is. Smoking inside is working for me though, at least until spring.

You might not be getting as much flavor during the winter months due to colds. Just a theory.
