Fuck you Barry. I'd like your opinions on State Representative Jefferson Davis, D-50th district (yes, the "D" stands for DEMOCRAT) who was arrested for molesting his 8 year old foster son in June of 2003. He refused to resign, Democratic party leadership said nothing, he stayed in office like nothing happened. This guy is a multi-millionaire who hired the best defense attorney money could buy, and when he was facing certain jail time, he plea bargained to a TEN YEAR prison sentence which they SUSPENDED so this guy never served one day in prison.

Don't take these damn political postings so seriously. We all carry on about things now and then. It depends on what is important to us. Barry is passionate about politics and thinks the democratics are the answer to the country's problems. Me, I'm passionate about aviation and I bore folks with it every chance I get. My philosophy is to state my opinion once and let it go. From there we'll see what happens, and if I am wrong so be it. No amount of posting in ths forum is going to change the future. Politics is not the reason for living, it's just a diversion. We all cast our vote and the results speak for themselves. That is, after all, the only "power" that the constitution gives us. Anybody watching Studio 60? It's a parody on the production of SNL. There was a line in it last night when the polls came back saying the show was unpatriotic. Now, as to the title of this thread "GOP Condones Pedophiles Actions" - I doubt very much that anyone really believes tha the Republican party condones Pedofiles. But there are, if the news reports are accurate, a few in the Republican party who stood by and did nothing while this went on. Those few obviously do not represent the entire Republican party, but if the reports are accurate, they need to be held responsible.
