So that must be about a 25 gallon keg then? How big is it? I know of people in the area who grow hops they are amazingly great growers in this region from what I have seen.

1/2 bbl to my knowledge is 15.5 gallons, or 1984oz, or 165.3-12oz beers, or 6.89 cases of beer.

Lots and lots of hops comes from up in your area, I suppose.
