Nice........I'm still resisting, but I'm getting closer to caving in.

Me too. My buddies pick on me when I pull out my $1 cutter to cut a nice cigar. I won a nice dunhill round cutter. But the first time I used it I had a hard time cutting with it so I gave up. Might try it again.

Do I ever know how that feels......I usually get the double whammy....$1 cutter and $.99 bic lighter. They hang the shit, I just smile and say , my smoke still tastes like a Padron!!

Is there a big quality difference between the different Xikar models. I have an Xi2 (the cheapest one) and it is ok, but I also have a Palio which I love. But because I am weird I guess, I feel the need to have more than one nice cutter. I wouldn't have a big issue with paying for a different model but wondered if I would basically get the same quality. If so, I'll just wait and get another Palio in a different finish.

I believe the cutting blades are the same on all models, even the $300.00+ "Mammoth" model.

Basically, i think you just pay for the different materials / finishes.

Nice purchase, Dennis! I've enjoyed my Xikar cutter for 2-3 years now and have had no issues with it (knock on wood). Thinking about getting a Palio though for my next cutter. Either way, cutting the cigar is just a small part of the cigar experience.
