The guys where I worked told me I had a Black Cloud that followed me, shit would always hit the fan while we were out on patrol... 114 Pct. I took this screen name for AOL many yrs ago. I'm not a member of AOL but still use it for many things (ex. IM, BB's)

I explained this in another thread when Scotty was taunting me (since he already knew what my screen name meant). So for those of you who missed it, here it is again.

I like Jaguar motor cars. They are made in Coventry, England. They are sometimes called "Coventry Cats". The monthly publication of the Jaguar Association of New England (JANE) is called the "Coventry Cat".

The year of the Jaguar that I show in car shows is 1986, therefore the "86" at the end of my screen name:

It's also a pure coincidence that my ex-wife was born and raised in Coventry, Connecticut and we were married in 1986 and that she is a cat lover.

I just realized that I never did this. The Cabaiguan comes from the first box of cigars that I bought- Cabaiguan Coronas this time last year. The Juan comes from on of my several nicknames form college: Ranger Juan. Juan is spanish for Jon which is my name.
So, first box of cigar + spanish version on the best name ever = Me.

Cockyhoskins is a combo of my last name and my fanaticism for the Gamecocks. My wife also says it suits my personality!

I work in an Electronics R&D Lab. When I first started here, I was in this one lab where four of us had identicle cubicles along one wall...they looked like cages . Me and a buddy of mine used to say we felt like lab monkeys.

First my name is Nate not Joe. Average guys are called your average Joe and that's what I am just average. Prophetic is the basically seeing the future, which in my mind is extraordinary. So it's sort of a reminder that even average guys can be great.

Mine is so simple, I hesitated to post. I live in the desert, and "Desert Rat" is a common nick name for people who live in the desert.

    Real imaginative huh?

I've always been a huge Carroll Shelby fan. Had a bunch of Mustang Shelbys when I was younger and even an old 289 Cobra when they didn't cost 20 years salary.-... but the best one was a 1966 GT350S (Paxton supercharged - 442hp - 2700lbs) so when the announcement of the new 2007 Shelby GT500 came out I was at the dealership pronto, but found that they weren't taking orders. Last August we bought a used 2003 T-bird. On a road trip to Texas in December, we stopped at a little hotel in Tulia, TX. - median income about $15K year. During the night the local police noticed the car, thought it was out of place in a cheesy hotel and ran a check on the VIN. Turns out that the car had been reported stolen before we bought it. It was a mistake, but Ford had sold the car to a local dealer who sold it to us.... can you see where this is going???

As part of the "settlement" and me agreeing not to sue Ford (not that I would for a mistake, but they started jacking us around with the reimbursement check for our expenses and pissed me off royally) I negotiated a new 2007 Shelby Mustang (485+HP 485 ft lbs torque at about 2500 rpm) at a few hundred below dealer cost when they start producing them. So now I am waiting with baited breath for the damn things to be released.

So that's it . Shelby07! I'll post a picture as my avitar here soon.

When my wife and I met, she said I was a Brat, so I took the name Bratde98 in AIM, "Brat in 1998" and then when I started into the Cigar stuff, I used Puro and added the Brat, thus PuroBrat.

I am Purobrat on every cigar board. I also own the name Mike's Cigars on CF, but that was my first Cigar Board to sign up for and the word Puro was not yet a part of my lingo. I am just a newbie after all. Not only that, but someone informed me that the guy who owns the cigar web site "Mike's Cigars" might be unhappy with me, so I re-registered there with Purobrat as well.
