Welcome from Maryland. A strong recommendation: stop smoking Opus' fresh. Give them AT LEAST a year.

Yeah, I guess. I was new back then, so I figured it might take me time to get used to it. And I did. I can smoke an Opus fine.

Why is that? I've always smoked Opus X s fresh.
I talked to some guy at my local cigar store. He said aging cigars makes them lose in strength a bit, but gain a lot in flavor. Is that the case with the Opus?

On another note, I smoked a Padron 1926 last night. I thought it was incredible. My conclusion is that it tasted like Cocoa/Chocolate.

I have a 601 sitting around too, I'll try that soon.
