I had a bow when I was younger but sold it for my 30-30. I want to get another. Maybe next season.

As far as the 30 06 - It can do anything you want in the states.

I myself need a slug gun for this season. I'm finally in the position to take some time off during this hunting season and the local spots are shotgun/muzzle loader and bow only. Also handgun. Hunted locally with my 357 last year but no dice.
