I've done all sorts of stuff from fancy leather cases, to plastic bags to the otter box.

the otter box is the solution. I have a 15 count and a 2 count. The 15 usually has 8 to 10 cigars and a humi pack andsits in the car. The 2 count gets smokes I want to take hunting, fishing or just out when I want a cigar or two just in case.

Yep, the Otterbox style are the best, I have two five count and one 15 count, all serve the purpose perfectly. One of the fivers has litteraly been run over by a truck with only a few scratches to show for it

Hmm, those Otterboxes look remarkably similar to my Xtreme. Hate the name, but I love the case.
I have made it a rule never to smoke more that one cigar at a time.

The otterbox seems the way to go for a longer trip. I'm thinking more of when going to a party or the golf course. I've been eyeing some of the leather ones on cbid but am not in any great hurry. Everytime I get some extra cash I seem to end up with more cigars

The otterbox is perfect for the golf course. I have a 5 stick box and can fit 3 cigars, a cutter and lighter in there. Then I just toss it in my bag or in the cart if I'm being lazy and I'm good to go. Plus, if I ever throw my sticks in the pond I can still fish out my cigars and they'll be safe and dry.
Get an otterbox for golf, outdoor type stuff, etc. and a 2 finger leather case for parties.

If you have a carbon fiber fetish like me you can look at the Griffins cases. Its all carbon fiber and has a nice finish... it holds up to a 55 gauge cigar.

I was thinking about doing just that. But, I figure if I'm going to spend $5 on a stick, I want to keep them safe. The more I look at the otter box, the more I think I'll get a 5 stick and then a leather case for the time when I just want to put a couple in my pocket.
