    I've never heard of anyone getting them back togethor without sending them back to Xikar. Congrats, a tutorial with pics would be a great addition.

    Me neither, I've tried and failed! So I returned it and bought a Palio. Then I discovered the V cut guillotine and that's primarily what I use.

    I don't have to clean mine. They break before they get dirty. Nice pic though
    Family, Friends and a good cigar. Oh and some fishing too!

    I could see the spring breaking, or that little spring guide extruded piece that triggers it.

    Most "breakage" is the pivot screw working loose, you need to tighten it every so often. But I have heard that dropping them can cause them to fail. Mine have worked flawlessly.

    ... If it comes apart, just drop it in a padded envelope and mail it back, they'll send you a brand new one
