Interesting. Seems like everyone had a different experience with this cigar. I may have to smoke a couple more and see if I had the same experience as I had before.

    Thanks for the opinions guys!

Sorry it has not come up to all the hype I gave it.

Hefty sent me one of these to try (thank you sir!). My first impression was it doesn't taste anything at all like a PAM (gee, no surprise ), BUT I have to say, it was a pretty good cigar.

Unlike ashauler, I had no problem at all keeping it lit. I had to run some errands so I lit it up in the car. I had to go to Home Cheapo and I was in the store for about ten minutes and when I got back to my car, it was still burning which isn't usually the case. This cigar burned nice and evenly for the whole time I was smoking it and for me, the draw was indeed similar to a higher end cigar like and Opus X/Davidoff/Padron 1926 as opposed to the regular ole run of the mill domestic cigar.

I thought the construction and burn were top notch but like I said, the flavor of the wrapper was nothing like a high end Padron and it just plain didn't do much for me.

I have to say though that if I smoked these more regularly, I could probably develop a liking for them because to me, burn and draw are important and so many mid-priced domestics just plain suck in these areas but again, this cigar was much better than average. The draw was nice and firm, just the way I like it.

I would maybe pay $5.00 for these but not much more than that, definitely not $10.00.
