Default Where do you call home?

As many of you know, my life has been changing on a lot of levels in the last year. What with being on disability now, and sometimes I can’t walk, etc etc. Add to that, my wife’s job disappeared a few months ago and it just got worse.

Rent in the BigD area was a bit steep. I could no longer afford to pay $800/month in rent.

So the PB Family made a move to the country. All along we have been using a house that belonged to my wife’s grandmother as a weekend get-away. Now we are gonna make it home. Rent is much lower and life is much slower.

In the picture my new place is at the red pin this is a small house with a detached garage.

I think this move just might improve my mood, as well as my ability to pay the bills.

This song was written about my new town:

Nobody gets off in this town
    Trains don't even slow down
My high school sweetheart's married and gone
They met on a bus to San Antone
The Greyhound stops! Somebody gets on
But nobody gets off in this town

Nobody gets off in this town
Old folks 'round here wear a frown
Now let me see if I can set the scene
    It's a one-dog town and he's old and mean
There's one stop light but it's always green
Nobody gets off in this town

Nobody gets off in this town
    High school colors are brown
They can't drag Main because it kicks up dust
Their cars and their dreams are all starting to rust
The high school dances are always a bust
Nobody gets off in this town

Nobody gets off in this town
They oughta just tear it down
Cause in the winter you freeze and in the summer you fry
Utility bill's the only thing that gets high
I'd go for a drink but this county is dry
    Nobody gets off
    Nobody gets off
Nobody gets off in this square old merry-go-round
No, nobody gets off in this town

Thanks to Garth Brooks for singin' one for me.

Let me just say this much, wrong or right.

I am out of my league on this board. Most of the BOTL here at CS are head and shoulders above my level of Cigar Smoker. I have never felt like I belonged here, even when I wasn't the butt of somebody's joke. Let's face it, I can't run with you guys, CC has said it many times. When I first came here, I was smoking Miami Suites, that was my brand. My only good cigar had been a Don Carlos given to me as a wedding gift. That is how I found CS. I was trying to find out what I had smoked by looking it up on the web. I ended up at CF, by accident. There is where I saw a sig line that said "I usually hang out at CS" so I checked it out. And that is that. I never made any secret of my level in this hobby. I went to the cigar shop to get fodder for every pass I was ever in. I thought I could pay my dues and grow into this hobby with you guys. Well I tried, the dues are too high for me. After I had to leave my job on disability it goy harder. So this I suppose is the end of the road. But don't anybody say I am telling you this to mooch. I don't want your pity or your cigars. Why do you think I took my addy out of my profile? CC, I only ask that you leave me be. I have never done a damn thing to you, and this is just wrong.

At LTC, I am on a level in this hobby that is at least as advanced as the best of the guys over there. And I have developed some friendships. I have enough knowledge of this hobby to actually have useful input there, not just comic relief.

So if you guys don't mind a whole lot, how bout you let me enjoy participating at a level I can be useful, instead of always feeling like I ain't good enough to be. I just ask you to let me be, that is all.

I admit I have made many mistakes. I have made errors in judgment, errong on the side of the guy who was at the bottom(a habit I gave up flat a while back, you can't show otherwise). I have been the recipient of the generosity of many fine brothers on CigarPass, and I thank them (you guys know who you are and I owe you plenty). I have never from the day I got here been able to be a gifter, and I have never made out like I could (I would love to be a bomber, instead of the charity case, with the care packages from time to time). Have I mooched cigars? I have jokingly made mooch attempts, when it seemed appropriate for the climate of the thread. But I never intended to commit acts of fraud. I never set out to hurt or swindle anyone. And I always tried to do my best to be more than fair in passes that I was in.

I cannot for the life of me find anything I have done to Justify CC or anyone else coming to this new board and trying to slander me, and telling my new friends that I am a scumbag. That isn't right and it is downright unjustifiable. I will be more than happy to stay away from here, and not soil the great CS membership any further. I just ask that if anybody really thinks I deserve a character assassination, you would show me why.

I am not asking you to open your arms to me, to accept me as a brother (though many of you kind brothers and sisters did just that). I am only asking that you don't try to crush me under the weight of the past, or my inadequacies.

What website allows you to get satellite shots of your town?

Home for me is Sutton, Nebraska. We have a population of 1,385 people. The school k-12 population is 425 and we're for the most part, an agricultural economy. We do have a wood treatment plant, a lumber yard, as well as a two giant hog "factories" east and west of town. There is also going to be an ethanol plant built to the west of us that will hopefully bring in much needed income.

    Oh where do I begin......

First off Puro, I never called you a "scumbag" here did I? If you can find it please post it. If you can't you should apologize for posting slander. Unfortunately you do have a reputation for posting slander so why should it be no surprise that you are up to your old tricks here as well?

So Puro, until you clean up your act here, you will continue to hear it from me when you step out of line with your pathetic "Woe is me" crap which in the past is your subtle attempt at "mooching" cigars which is a reputation you have earned all on your own with the way you handle yourself here and on other cigar boards.

As far as "charachter assasination" all anyone has to do is check your posts on other cigar boards, in particular, LTC aka "The Island of the Misfit Toys" and people can draw their own conclusions about you. If you haven't figured it out by now, many people have done exactly that and already have your number so carry on here like and the result will be the same. Scotty can be your biatch just like he is over on the Island.

Oh and superdick78, you should get your facts straight before you open mouth and insert foot So tell me, where do you know Puro from and can you vouch that he's a "good guy"?

Sorry Bill, the Purobrat in this forum is someone other than me. I am the Purobrat you know from CigarPass. Whoever is registered here as Purobrat is doing so to make me look worse than you already think I am.

I assure you, every post on this board by Purobrat was made by a poser.

He has gone into other boards that I have posted on and taken my posts, screwed around with some of them, edited stuff to fit the persona he wanted here. Today is the first time I have ever posted to this board.
