    A couple of weeks ago, he had "Carthago Delenda Est" in his sigtag which means something along the lines of "Carthage must be destroyed" and in Scotty's mind:

    Carthage=CigarSmokers

    so he figured no one would notice and when we did and asked him specifically what he meant by that, he started playing his bullshit games which he is famous for.

    Drake,

    Here's the BEST explantion I've found, in a paragraph or less, of what "Carthago Delenda Est" means:

    Modern advertising relies very much on repetition to achieve results - this effective but often aggravating tactic was perhaps pioneered by the Censor of the Roman state, Cato the Elder (234-149BC). With little formal education, Cato became a soldier and tribune, then quaestor during the Second Punic War against Hannibal and the Carthaginians. During the latter years of rivalry between Rome and Carthage - and regardless of the current state of the relationship - Cato would end every speech to the Senate - on whatever subject - with the words: 'Carthago delenda est!' ('Carthage must be destroyed'). The repetition of these words in the Senate and on social occasions supposedly sparked the beginning of the Third Punic War that ended with the destruction of Carthage. The Punic Wars originally started from the determination of the Romans to oust the Carthaginians from nearby Sicily
    Now that you read that - does it play out like Scotty would like you to think?

    O.k., and how has my sigtag hurt the board? How has this diabolical plan worked? Good thing I can't do pic. sigs, the animated one of the skull and beckoning hand would've had you hit the roof.
    No, Scott - the "Carthago Delenda Est" is much more diabolical than a skull and beckoning hand. I would have laughed at the Skull and Beckoning Finger - I'm not so amused by "Carthago Delenda Est". I actually think Carthago is rather sad because you obviously are so dilusional you think you could pull off some major coup like that...

    Maybe I got the whole thing wrong - maybe you'd like to explain to us the "diabolical plan" you had in mind when posting "Carthago Delenda Est" as your sigtag. Although I gotta say, I'm not holding my breath - it took a month of pleading to get out of you what is quoted above....
